About This Grant:
Angel Flight NE's Changing Lives One Flight at a Time's program specifically supports our mission coordination efforts. Mission coordination is the heart and soul of our organization. We have three full-time mission coordinators who are available 24x7 to assist patients, caregivers, volunteer pilots and medical teams so each mission is seamless. The demand for our free air transportation services is continually increasing, as we have seen a 40% increase year-over-year. We are able to provide transportation to those cancer patients who require specialized medical care but don't have the ability to transport themselves due to distance or cost.
