Stuart Lyons, CPA

 

Background

Stuart is a Tax Principal in Baker Newman Noyes’ Tax Division focusing on international tax compliance and consulting for both business and individual clients. He joined BNN in the fall of 2008, after serving as Corporate and International Tax Practice leader at a Massachusetts regional accounting firm. Prior to this, he worked for KPMG LLP in Boston, MA and was the Director of Tax of Perini Corporation. He specializes in managing compliance, income tax accounting reporting (FAS 109 and FIN 48) and consulting for large and medium size multi-state and international corporations.

Education

Stuart earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami, a Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College and a Master of Science in Taxation degree from Bentley College.

Activities

Stuart is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to his role as Board Member and Treasurer of Maine Cancer Foundation, he is on the United Way of York County-Community Review Team.
