Roger Inhorn, MD, Ph.D.

 

Background

Roger is the Director of the Oncology/Hematology Center at Mercy. Before joining Mercy, he was Associate Director of Oncology Hematology at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis where he was the principal investigator for the St. Louis site of a National Cancer Institute-sponsored clinical research program. Roger has a particular interest in the treatment of breast cancer patients. He is board certified in oncology and internal medicine.

Education

Roger completed his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, then went on to earn his M.D. and Ph.D. at Washington University in St. Louis. He spent six years in Boston while doing his internship and residency at Brigham and Women's then served a fellowship in oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Family

Roger lives in Cape Elizabeth with his wife and their four children. His hobbies include viola playing, hiking, reading, cooking and running.
